About & Safety
What lAIterlife is for, and how to stay safe.
In an emergency
If someone is in immediate danger or having a medical emergency in the UK, call 999 now.
For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, call NHS 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk.
Information, not diagnosis
lAIterlife gives general, plain-English information to help you understand a topic and decide what to do next. It does not diagnose conditions, and it is not a replacement for a conversation with a professional who knows your situation.
For health questions
This app does not tell you to start or stop any medication and does not act as a doctor. If symptoms are new, worsening, or worrying, contact a GP, a pharmacist, NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
For money and legal decisions
For personal decisions about your finances, benefits, or legal rights, speak to a qualified adviser. Organisations such as Citizens Advice, Age UK, and MoneyHelper offer free, impartial guidance.
